AT SINOBOOM, WE CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY.

It’s easy to get carried away and rush starting up a machine. However, this may result in forgetting to observe all the necessary safety precautions before operation. Always read Sinoboom’s operation manual and safety instruction before operating any Sinoboom lift.

Below is a quick safety checklist is to help your risk assessment.

APPROPRIATE CLOTHING

HARNESS

For all MEWP if required by site rules

HARD HAT

When using MEWP or if any overhead obstacles are in close proximity, eg. roof or ceiling.

SAFETY BOOTS

To ensure you don’t slip, trip or drop anything on your feet.

AT THE JOBSITE

 

ASSESS YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Is your work near powerlines or over water? Is the weather extremely such as windy?

ASSESS THE GROUND CONDITION

Is the terrain rough and sloping? On a slab/flat surface? Are there potholes?

ASSESS POTENTIAL OVERHEAD OBSTACLES OR FALLING HAZARDS.

Is your MEWP capable of achieving the right height and reach?

SET UP EMERGENCY RESCUE PLAN

A second person on the ground with mobile phone or interphone as a precaution in case of an unexpected breakdown.

USE INDUSTRY SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS RELEVANT TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Such as bollard light traffic cone.
